BODYSPEAK ALCHEMY™
Longer Exhale Breathing
Lengthen your exhale to gently support settling and recovery.
How To Use It
Sit or stand comfortably.
Breathe in gently through your nose for four counts.
Breathe out slowly for six counts.
Keep the breath comfortable. Do not force it.
Repeat for five rounds.
Return to your natural breathing.
Stop if you feel dizzy or uncomfortable.
When To Use It
Use this practice:
When stress begins to rise
After a tense conversation
Between demanding tasks
When your body feels restless
Before sleep or during an evening wind-down
Why It Helps
Stress can make breathing quicker and shallower.
Lengthening the exhale slows your breathing rhythm without forcing it.
This may reduce physical activation and support recovery after stress.
