BODYSPEAK ALCHEMY™

Gentle Freeze Reset

Use warmth, touch and small movements to reconnect without forcing.

A woman sitting on a beige armchair with a blanket draped over her shoulders, in a softly lit room with a window showing greenery outside, a wooden side table with a lamp and a bowl, a potted plant, and a fluffy white rug.

How To Use It

Sit somewhere your body feels supported.

Add warmth with a blanket or warm drink.

Place one hand on your forearm or thigh if touch feels comfortable.

Slowly wiggle your fingers and toes.

Press your feet gently into the floor, then release.

Look around and notice one neutral detail.

If you are physically safe, repeat slowly: “I am safe right now.”

Continue for one to two minutes.

Do not force larger movement.

When To Use It

Use this practice when:

  • You feel numb, disconnected or shut down

  • Your mind feels blank or foggy

  • Your body feels heavy or difficult to move

  • You feel stuck or unable to begin

  • An overwhelming situation has ended and you are physically safe

Why It Helps

The freeze response can reduce movement, energy and connection.

Warmth and gentle touch provide clear sensory input.

Small movements help you reconnect gradually without overwhelming your body.
