BODYSPEAK ALCHEMY™

Flight Energy Reset

Use grounding and steady breathing to slow the rush and reorient.

A woman sitting on a wooden chair in a minimalist room, with a large potted plant to her left and a small table with a bowl and cloth to her right. The room has neutral tones and an open door leading to another space.

How To Use It

Sit in a sturdy chair.

Place both feet flat and rest your hands on your thighs.

Press your feet gently into the floor.

Look around and name three neutral things you can see.

Take five slow, comfortable breaths.

Before moving, ask:

What is my next safe step?

When To Use It

Use this practice when:

  • You feel anxious, restless or unable to settle

  • Your thoughts are racing

  • You feel an urgent need to leave or escape

  • You are pacing or moving constantly

  • A stressful situation has ended and you are physically safe

Why It Helps

The flight response prepares your body to move quickly.

Grounding creates clear physical feedback through your feet and hands.

Looking around and breathing steadily helps you assess the situation before acting.
